Introduction

I adhere to the standards of the professional bodies of which I am a member: the Guild of Professional Tourist Guides and the Association of Professional Tourist Guides.

Tour timings

Full days are usually up to a maximum of 9 hours.

Half days are up to 4 hours.

Payment terms

Fees for private tours are negotiated on a case-by-case basis upon consultation with the client. Prices start from £190 based on a couple or family group for a two hour walking tour.

Full payment is due in advance of the day of the tour.

Payment must be made in Pounds Sterling via either direct bank transfer or by a payment link which will be shared with you at the time of booking.

Refunds and cancellations

• More than 7 days: 100% refunded (minus any payment charges incurred)

• 2-7 days: 50% refunded (minus any payment charges incurred)

• Within 48 hours: No refund

To amend or cancel your tour, please contact me asap.

Guiding is a live activity, and so on occasion circumstances may change at short notice (for example site closure). Where such changes are publicised in advance, I will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed with the tour. If you do not, a full refund will be made.

Insurance

Through my membership of the guiding bodies, I am covered by insurance for the duration of the tour.

However, clients are strongly advised to secure their own personal travel insurance.
